'it goes in circles' is the debut album from Malaysian art rock/post-punk band fictions. Released in 2026, the album consists of 8 tracks and runs for approximately 62 minutes.

The album was primarily recorded live as a band, with additional overdubs and instrumentation added during the production process. The songs were developed throughout the band's early years and reflect the musical influences and experiences of its members during that period.

it goes in circles marks fictions' first full-length release and serves as an introduction to the band's sound, songwriting and approach to production.
