Denisa is an artist/musician from Jakarta, Indonesia. "St. Bernadette" is her beautifully melancholic sophomore album. Comprised of ten emotional songs that serve as vignettes on mortality and existential perseverance.  

"This second album pictures a memorial. Starts at birth, then from being a rotten kid to a filthy adolescent, the crud of falling in love, clawing the sickening paths of filling the cavity, cheating death, accepting failing death, and becoming fearless of the afterlife - all in one memorandum. These records do not tell a full-blown novel-like story but rather little parts of existence that make me feel big. I am big, I am a great bear, and I’ve conquered existence. I have not dug out my grave, I laid still in it and soaked in the grim, the penance, and the light(s) at the end of the tunnel." - Denisa Dhaniswara
