Bottled Violent are a five piece hardcore punk band from Bandung, Indonesia. The No Rules EP is a follow up to 2023’s EP, NIHIL. Although their name is a nod to Minor Threat they also reference Formaldehyde Junkies and Amdi Petersen’s Armé as heavy influences. While those comparisons are apt, their modernized sound is closer to bands like Milk (Japan). While other current bands in Indonesia like Crucial Response and Gloath go for a harder edged sound, Bottled Violent trade in their distortion pedals for more melodic songs.
