Trust Records presents the first official release of Bad Brains' "Are You Ready: The First Studio Recording (Inner Ear – March 1979)," recorded three years before the band's self-titled, 1982 debut full-length. The one-sided EP includes six tracks, among them the first studio recording of "Pay To Cum." Packaging includes a poly-lined inner sleeve, a double-sided insert of archival photos, and liner notes by Alec MacKaye (The Faith). Vinyl version includes an etched B-side. This is the transparent yellow vinyl version, exclusive to Rev and limited to 500 copies.

First-ever release of the incendiary March 1979 Bad Brains session from Inner Ear Studios, Arlington, VA. Includes the first studio recording of "Pay to Cum" Mixed for release by Ian MacKaye at Inner Ear (2026). Mastered by Pete Lyman at Infrasonic. Design and layout by Kill Your Idols Studio.
